Ok to make sure, I love the next gen so far no complaints apart from this.
The code system, Why should we pay for a code to be used 3 times? Its not like we payed for the old ngage games to use 3 times now is it? There already limited to 1 device through IMEI so we cant share, so why restrict us to 3 times only? Take me for instance I bought the games when it came out - but then I had to upgrade firmware so thats 2 Uses gone which isnt my fault? Now I wish to buy a new memory card which would mean I would have to enter that activacation code once again, Thats all my 3 trys - Great, Now say if my phone messes up and needs a firmware reinstall? I cant use the game I payed good money for - I have to buy it all again? I find that very un-fair, seriously as long as we did buy it, and is locked I see no problem to letting us activate it either a few more times, Or unlimited either way its ours right? We dont go into game and buy a game for £30 and then they tell us once you have used it 3 times bring it back to the shop with no refund? Sort it please.

Hello, i updated my device N958GB and it was no problem. I dont must activate new because I have make a Backup with PC Suite. So for one device is the game no problem and when your device get chance mail the firm about it. I think that there is no problem to get your new activation codes. Greedings tschakram

i've read somewhere that if you purchase new phone or have to get replacement that you can contact support and transfer your purchase's to your new IMEI

We were able to reassociate our accounts to new IMEI numbers last gen, why not now? Nokia were the ones who wanted to go digital and they should have made this a non-issue. I remember a presentation or 10 that insisted we'd have a "game locker" where all our games could be stored and we'd be able to choose from all these different phones and just load up our fav games and go. This is a far cry from where we're at. Certain phones have no app, certain versions of certain phones have no app, games are trickling out without any online or serious development effort, we need to rebuy games when we get a new phone. This is not how it should have been and not where it should be. This has been coming for years and the stumbling blocks foreseen years ago are still firmly in place.
Why can't they just database our purchases and give us unlimited reinstalls and re-downloads on a single account associated IMEI at a time? It's not like they aren't storing data on each account anyway. It's not like the servers aren't there with the data at the ready. The carriers would love it to. They'd be getting those data fees over and over again even without the purchase happening. This should have been worked out in advance.
I can't speak from experience here (N93i user), but this needs addressing.

Hello hoax2000,
Please let me put your mind at ease concerning 3 activations. We have the ability to give you as many activations as you need for a game. Just as long as it is for the device in which the game was originally activated. Currently, N-Gage Activation Codes only work on the device where they were first activated.
Thank you,
congested
