Well come September, you can finally pit yourself and your friends against other teams in Space Impact.  The much anticipated "CLAN BATTLE" mode will be released for Space Impact in September.  CLAN BATTLE mode will play out much like SOLO BATTLE except you will have to join a clan/team to participate in the WORLD BATTLE events.  Each event's leaderboard will assign a clan as an owner for that leaderboard based on which clan/team has the best average in the Top 10. 

So start thinking about who your teammates are going to be and your clan name now, then battle the other teams for control of the World Battle Map. 

Other supporting features of CLAN BATTLE will be personal messages to any WORLD BATTLE user, name your own clan, and you can attach replays to any of your top ten performances; alternatively, you can download any top ten replay to learn how the great Space Impact pilots achieve their ace scores.

will we have to re-download whole game again when it's released or will it be as a add-on from showroom extra's ?

Excellent quesion Brainimpactrushprogenerationdeep :-)

You will have to download the new version of the game again, but will not have to re-purchase it.  Your activiation key will still apply to the new version.  However, the old version will not be compatible with the new version.  This means that people still using the old version will not be able to view the SOLO BATTLE rankings for people using the new version, and vica versa.
